How Ancient Civilizations Described Giants And the Bones They Found

Ten civilizations. No contact with each other. All of them describing the same thing.

A Nevada cave with a burn layer exactly where Paiute oral history said a siege ended. A Danish burial mound whose place-name meant "giant's grave" centuries before anyone opened it and found a skeleton too long for its own chamber. A Himalayan cave where local guides refused payment to let a British surveyor remove a single bone. The Book of Enoch describes an offspring immense enough to eat through entire harvests. The Book of Deuteronomy gives an iron bed's exact dimensions — nine cubits by four, on public display, so a skeptical reader could go check.

The pattern across all ten is the same. The story predates the discovery. The oral tradition names the exact site, sometimes the exact lineage, before a single shovel goes into the ground. Then the physical evidence matches it — a burn layer, a chamber built at the wrong scale, a femur a third longer than the man measuring it. And then, almost every time, the bones disappear. Crated by the Smithsonian and never logged again. Photographed in Ireland and gone from every museum record within a decade.

The stories were told first. The ground kept confirming them. And the evidence keeps vanishing right after it's found.
