Remembrance: Reflections of War Amputee Charlie Jefferson (1924-2024)

Charlie Jefferson, a war amputee who served in the Canadian Army in the Second World War, reflects on the meaning of Remembrance Day and the importance of recognizing the contribution of the fallen. He also shares his pride in The War Amps CHAMP Program for child amputees – a program through which war amputees have passed on the tradition of “amputees helping amputees” to the younger generation.
