10 ancient civilizations. All of them describing the same thing. None of them in contact with each other.

The Sumerian King List records eight rulers governing Earth for 241,200 years before a global flood ended their reign. The list is formatted identically to the post-flood sections containing historically verifiable kings and cities confirmed by archaeology. The scribe made no distinction in tone or structure between the quarter-million-year pre-human administration and the human dynasties that followed. The tablets are at the Ashmolean Museum. The numbers are still there.
The Popol Vuh records the creators deliberating over their fourth attempt at humanity and concluding it had turned out too perfect. The text records their decision directly: they deliberately clouded human vision to prevent their creation from being equal to its makers. This is not a theological statement about human finitude. It is a competitive decision, documented as such, made by beings who needed their creation to remain less capable than they were.

The Edfu Building Texts describe beings called the Shebtiw arriving after a global flood, building the first sacred enclosure using something translated as technical knowledge, disagreeing with each other, some dying, the survivors departing. Oxford Egyptologist E.A.E. Reymond spent years translating the document and wrote in her own analysis that the texts suggest the existence of a sacred domain planned before the historical period of Egyptian civilization.

The pattern across all ten is the same. Different languages. Different continents. Different centuries. The same story: something else was here before us, governed for a very long time, shaped what we became, and left without explaining itself.
