Dying trees fall easily. <br />Poems, too, as they should. <br />Dead wood rots from which <br />One good poem may grow, <br />The better to hear in the higher <br />Branches, the creaking lower limbs. <br /> <br />Sequestering lovers late afternoon <br />Whisper.
